Basic Training
Lessons may start sooner with the instructor’s permission. Swim Float Baby aims to give children the ability to solve problems in any environment when submerged. Children learn to swim face-down in the water, rotate onto their backs to a floating position that allows them to rest & breathe, and then return to a face-down swimming posture. Swimmers memorize age-appropriate swimming posture and the capacity to hold this life-saving position until assistance arrives. According to statistics, most children who accidentally fall into the water are completely dressed. As a result, once the children have completed their fundamenta l training, they’ll rehearse and perform completely dressed. This Basic Training course typically consists of 20–30 consecutive lessons, Monday through Friday, 4–6 weeks. Lessons last between 10 and 15 minutes and are always one-on-one. All students who have finished Basic Training should proceed to Weekly Maintenance.

All students who have finished a Basic Skills Course through ANY Survival Swim Program are eligible for this course.
The improvement of a young swimmer’s skills includes refresher lessons. Children continue to improve their coordination and mental faculties as they grow. Refresher classes provide us the chance to polish your child’s abilities and maintain the strength of their survival swimming abilities. Periodically during the year, refresher sessions are suggested. They are a quick 2-week course.
Your swimmer will remain the independent, assured skill-based swimmer they were during their foundational skills training courses by taking a Refresher course.

Maintenance
Children must complete Basic Training before continuing to classes once or twice a week in our Maintenance Program for the best skill retention.
MAINTENANCE
After successful completion of the Basic Training & Refresher courses, Swim Float Baby offers a Maintenance course, which focus on developing a swimmer’s ability to swim, float, and rest whenever they need to breathe and swim again until your child reaches a wall or stairs. Classes once or twice a week in a Maintenance Program provide skill retention and even greater independence and confidence.
Before enrolling in Maintenance lessons, a swimmer must enroll in a Refresher course if they haven’t taken lessons in a while. (The requirement for the Refresher course is 4-5 consistent lessons over the course of a week).
Important viewpoint!
Every child is diverse and unique, with various abilities and different speeds of development. Some children will learn our lessons more quickly than others. The majority of children enrolling in swim lessons will finish their program in 4–6 weeks if all guidelines and standards are fulfilled.
